We need volunteer ticket takers and docents at the 6 homes below on April 27 and 28.
Shifts are 11:30 am – 2:15 pm and 2:15 – 5:15 pm.
Ticket takers sit outside the home and sell tickets & t-shirts.
Docents are inside the home helping direct tour patrons through the home.

We also need PARKING LOT ATTENDANTS to work 90-minute shifts at our 2 parking lots.

Volunteers get a free ticket to the WRHT!

PARKING LOT ATTENDANTS

We need volunteers to work a 90-minute shift at our two parking lot locations:

  • 9601 White Rock Trail = help facilitate our shuttle vans for our tour guests; monitor parking lot (2 people needed per shift)
  • 6522 Trammel = monitor lot (1 person needed per shift)

HOME LIAISONS:  LAUREN & PATRICK CONE

1-story midcentury modern home built in 1961 with a new pool in Lake Highlands Meadow neighborhood.   This home is filled with cool art, minimal interior design that lets the MCM architecture speak for itself.

10249 EAST LAKE HIGHLANDS

HOME LIAISON:  ROBERT WHITTAKER

1-story new modern home UNDER CONSTRUCTION – shown as a “work in progress”.  Architect Cliff Welch and builder Clay Robinson will be present to chat with tour patrons about the home.  Docents at this home will wear WRHT-branded hard hats.  This will be a fun and interesting home!

8020 FOREST TRAIL

HOME LIAISON:  MARYBETH McMILLON

Two-story new modern home built by New Leaf Custom Homes, with interior design by homeowner Samantha Bailey.  Former WRHT Chair MaryBeth is back to captain this beautiful home!  (extra tidbit:  the home at 8034 Forest Trail is also on the tour this year – and it’s specified as our “Teacher Home,” managed by Mrs. Armstrong, who recruits from the teachers and staff at Hexter.

10033 LAKE HIGHLANDS PLACE

HOME LIAISON:  LACEY HENDERSON

Cute 1-story midcentury modern home close to Hexter.  This is our most “budget friendly” home.

HOME LIAISON:  COURTNEY BROWN

Gorgeous 2-story new modern home in Lakewood – lots of windows and steel elements, cool art.

6522 TRAMMEL

HOME LIAISONS:  GREG O’NEAL & JERI PADUCH

One story new modern home loaded with lots of cool features.  This home is sponsored by Hexter’s own Claudia Bahamonde and Fernando Castillo, so they’ll be there too.

HELP AT HEXTER ELEMENTARY DURING TOUR WEEKEND.

We need volunteers to help with ticket sales and will call at Hexter Elementary during tour weekend.  We also need help greeting and directing visitors at the school.

HIGH SCHOOL VOLUNTEERS.

We need your help in all sorts of areas — earn your community volunteer hours.
